Should You Have a Cosmetic Procedure?

Modern Dermatology offers nonsurgical procedures that may reshape normal structures of the body in order to improve appearance and self-esteem.

Healthy individuals with a positive outlook and realistic expectations are appropriate candidates for cosmetic procedures. This is a personal choice. We recommend that you pursue cosmetic procedures for yourself, not to fulfill someone else's desires or to try to fit an ideal image.

Hair Removal

Our laser hair removal system uses a combination of energy and heat to destroy follicles without harming the skin around them. After a series of sessions, you’ll experience permanent hair reduction. Depending which area(s) you decide to treat, you’ll always be ready to slip into a swimsuit, won’t have to think about razor burn or irritation, and will stop worrying about unsightly ingrown hairs.

Vein Laser or Sclerotherapy

The most common way to treat spider and small varicose veins are sclerotherapy. This is a simple office procedure. After treatment, you can return to your daily activities right away.

Photofacial can dramatically improve the look of sun-damaged skin, brown spots, pigmented lesions, and even out the skin tone. These treatments are also appropriate for patients with the persistent redness and flushing of rosacea and other skin conditions. An advantage of this treatment is that there is no downtime and patients can return to their normal activities immediately after their procedure. Photofacials can be performed on the face, neck, chest, arms, and hands

BOTOX® Cosmetic is administered by a healthcare professional as a simple, nonsurgical treatment that is injected directly into the muscles between the brows. It works by blocking nerve impulses to the injected muscles. This reduces muscle activity that causes moderate to severe lines to form between the brows.

Chemical Peels

A chemical peel, also called chemexfoliation or derma peeling, is one of the least invasive ways to improve the appearance of your skin. Although chemical peels are used mostly on the face, they can also be used to improve the skin on your neck and hands.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers can work to restore youthful fullness to your face, enjoy plump lips, enhance shallow contours or soften those facial creases and wrinkles. Dermal fillers have been called "liquid facelifts" because they offer many of the benefits of a surgical facelift using a non-invasive method.
